Comparative Study of Validity and Reliability of Two Handgrip Dynamometers: K-Force Grip and Jamar

Background: Handheld dynamometers are used for diagnosis and rehabilitation at several pathologies. Grip force is essential a person’s quality of life. Most not equipped with or training protocols, although the bibliography highlights this need. Objective: To compare validity reliability Jamar K-Force in patients shoulder impingement syndrome healthy people. Methods: Concurrent was assessed using known weights. Forty-four (44) 69 adults performed three maximum repetitions random order each hand, instrument. Reliability evaluated ICCs instrument separately, between two instruments.
